Authorities say spinach contaminated with ‘unsafe plant material’ is from a ‘single source’ and has caused delirium and hallucinations

A Queensland child admitted to hospital is among more than 100 people believed to have suffered symptoms after consuming spinach amid a widespread recall of fresh food items contaminated with “unsafe plant material”.

Authorities say the recalled spinach, thought to be from one source, has caused delirium and hallucinations.
